The company was created in 1997 as result of pioneering efforts of the funders in implementing an antiretroviral treatment program in Africa. The company continues to break new ground for the development and the implantation of sustainable solutions to drive access to medicines, diagnostics and healthcare where it is needed most in the world. In order to reinforce their presence in the emerging markets, the company is constantly working with private and public sector involving healthcare stakeholders.
The company is divided in two sections; the first one is a pioneering healthcare consulting company which is specialized in the delivery of sustainable solutions to drive access to care in emerging markets. One of their main goals is to improve the affordability to medicines, diagnostics or also medical devices. The company works closely with clients according to their implantation strategy. They proceed by ensuring that the country gets the needed infrastructure to operate effectively and through the development which involves innovative creative access strategies that improve patient outcomes, while driving business results.
The second section is a public charity based in the USA and their main business is the implementation of programs to drive access to care, while the world is developing. The company operates in relation with stakeholders, government authorities and care facility management in order to improve medicine infrastructures (surgery, laboratories…) and to coordinate supply chain management systems and disease management programs. Moreover, the company is in charge of some programs for international drug donation.

Position Purpose:
The Associate will be involved in different department for consultancy assignments using technical and analytical skills to bring alternative solutions to the company’s clients. He/She will recommend and work directly with senior team members to execute change.
Duties and Responsibilities
-    Work in different department for consultancy assignments.
-    Steer quantitative analysis needed for access projects.
-    Assist in managing the business and sales development including proposal development.
-    Support on developing project materials.
-    Work  with  the  Project  Insights  group  to  develop  presentations,  project  communication tools.
-    If required, assist on event management including company hosted conferences and seminars.
-    Manage research for project work and project development.
-    Take part in meetings, conferences and program trainings.
-    Thanks to discussion with clients or stakeholders, identify opportunities for projects
-    Work on innovative solutions to program challenges.

Relationships
-    Maintain good relations across the board in the company as well as with clients and key stakeholders. Work with partners including governmental agencies, medicine companies, other Non-Governmental Organisations, political affiliations, and communities.
-    Preserve frequent communication with the leaders of the Project Team including the company’s regional and global staff.

Job Circumstances
-    Travel in Asia could be required.
-    Flexibility with the working hours is necessary.

Educational Background and Experience
-    Degree level education with an interest in Public Health / Health issues
-    Ideally Professional experience within the Pharmaceutical context.
-    MBA or Master’s degree in pharmacy, medical, nursing or public health or equivalent is an advantage, but not mandatory.
-    Fluent in English (written and spoken).   
-    Be comfortable in working with the Pack Office (Excel, PowerPoint…)
       
Remuneration:  The Starting salary range and list of benefits salary range is broad, this will start at €25,000 plus bonus and healthcare.  (And can go up then / flexible)
